Poetry Workshops (Week 6)

In week 6 tutorials students will participate in a poetry workshop.

This workshop will be team-taught with a local poet, using resources from The Red Room Company's Papercuts program.

The workshop outline can be accessed on the unit Blackboard - if you missed the workshop, simply go to Blackboard and download the info from the Week 6 folder.

Workshops included a preview of making 'blackout poetry' in the style of Austin Kleon:

Assessment (Optional):

The poems produced in these workshops can be counted toward the Challenge Task Portfolio for assignment 3.

Challenge 4: Poetry Project

Complete a poem based on workshops in class (Week 6).

Write an accompanying 200 word reflection on how you feel about writing poetry and publish this with your poem on the class wiki.
